Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Financial Controller (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in region Leuven.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the investment sector.

As Financial Controller (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

• Financial Reporting: preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Preparing for the annual closing.
• Managing Accounting Operations for the group. The day-to day operational work is handled by the Investment Office Assistant.
• Supporting management as a finance partner in ad hoc projects and business cases.
• Assisting in tax inspections, ensuring VAT filings and listings.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinating and directing budgetary processes and financial forecasts to align with the organization’s goals.
• Compliance and Audit Liaison: Ensuring adherence to statutory laws and financial regulations, and assisting in audits.
• Taking initiative in process optimization and ERP implementation.
• Project Management: Engage in various ad hoc projects and take responsibility for their end-to-end execution.
• HR: Coordinate and process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate salary calculations, benefits, and deductions in collaboration with the external payroll provider.

The required profile for the Financial Controller (m/f/x) position:

• Master degree
• At least 4 years of experience in Financial Controlling;
• Being able to handle diverse tasks at a strategic level while also enjoying being actively involved in the day-to-day operations and being willing to roll up their sleeves when necessary;
• Leadership skills ;
• Communication skills ;
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills ;
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
