Summary

Responsibilities:


1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop and maintain financial models for performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flows, revenue projections, and investment returns to ensure financial stability.
  • Analyse asset profitability and provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency.


2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with statutory audit, tax submissions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain transparency in financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.


3. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy, alignment with strategic goals.
  • Perform variance analysis to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.


4. Risk Management & Internal Controls

  • Implement and monitor financial controls to mitigate risks, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure accurate accounting treatment of assets, including impairments and depreciation, in line with financial standards.


5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Optimize cash flow by managing liquidity, funding strategies, and working capital.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for financing arrangements.


6. Investment Performance & Strategy

  • Conduct financial due diligence on potential investments and divestments.


7. Tax Planning & Optimization

  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for asset management operations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations while optimizing tax positions.
  • Liaise with tax consultants to manage tax implications of acquisitions and disposals.


8. Technology & Process Optimization

  • Leverage financial systems, ERP solutions, and automation tools to improve efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, MACPA, CPA.
  • Minimum 10 years' working experience as Financial Controller/CFO in the related fields with a property developer or equivalent industry.
  • Able to work independently and lead a Finance team.
  • Possess good knowledge of operational processes and accounting principles and standards.
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, proactiveness and result-oriented.
