Amidst our rapid expansion, we're seeking an individual with exceptional organizational and accounting prowess to spearhead our financial operations. As our dedicated Financial Controller, you'll be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing our financials, from meticulous tracking and reconciliation to comprehensive payroll management and client remittances.
Responsibilities:
Perform timely reconciliation of all accounts as required.
Compile and analyze account data to prepare accurate accounting records.
Utilize QuickBooks and Simplicity Collect for precise posting of financial transactions.
Monitor debits and credits across accounts with precision.
Collaborate closely with the CEO on financial strategies and reporting.
Generate essential financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
Ensure accuracy of financial records and promptly address any discrepancies.
Manage accounts receivable including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
Execute payroll functions accurately and punctually, including tax submissions.
Interpret and apply accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and QuickBooks.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, with hands-on experience in pivot tables, etc.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
Keen attention to detail and adept at prioritizing tasks effectively.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accountant or Controller role.
