Summary

Therabody is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing international business. With dual reporting lines to the Global FP&A team and local Finance Director, this individual will have a hands on and visible role throughout the organization. This role will play an integral part in business planning, analysis, and month end close processes. In conjunction with the Finance Director and local leadership team, you will have P&L responsibilities across the international business including UK, EMEA, ANZ, Korea, and China. You will own various tasks and determine ways to automate for speed and accuracy. You will have direct responsibility for improving financial modeling toolkits, leading monthly sales, margin, and profitability analyses, and providing strategic recommendations on business optimization. You will work cross-functionally and empower leaders across the region by delivering strategic analyses and actionable insights driven by a deep understanding and synthesis of data.

This role requires to be in-person 3 days a week in our London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate across the organization to provide business insights driven by data, leveragingexisting andnew technologies to deliver exceptional value.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Establish reporting requirements for various KPIs, weekly sales flashes, monthly performance management and variance analysis, and actual vs budget presentations for senior leadership.
  • Create actionable management reporting and dynamic dashboards in both a timely and accurate manner, providing key insights and recommendations.
  • Partner closely with the global FP&A and accounting organizations.
  • Prepare monthly management materials and presentation decks.
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis to provide executive decision support.

The Right Person Would Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative degree. MBA a plus.
  • 3+ years of working in an analytical capacity.
  • Experience in the wellness/consumer goods industry, Ecommerce, Direct-to-consumer and B2B Sales models. Global experience a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications and experience with NetSuite and planning platforms (e.g. Hyperion/Smartview etc)
  • Familiarity working with multiple currencies.
  • Must be very organized, detail-orientated and possess exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to gather, consolidate, and challenge forecast figures from sales teams in different regions, time zones, and cultures.
  • Strong ability to plan efforts and conversations in advance to ensure timelines are met for budget, forecast, close, etc.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has a demonstratedtrack record of producing results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task numerous important priorities simultaneously.
