The role will be responsible for the SAP related issues in the finance team as well as standard financial reporting duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional/qualified CPA with a strong background in SAP finance solutions to take on a pivotal role and contribute to the success of their ERP implementation.

Summary of the role and key responsibilities

• Act as a liaison for the finance team during the SAP system implementation.
• Assist with daily SAP user activities and provide guidance on functionality inquiries from finance teams.
• Manage SAP Finance operations, ensuring prompt issue resolution, system performance, and ongoing improvements while standardizing business processes.
• Address the financial needs of the business by gathering requirements and designing solutions that align with financial operations and reporting.
• Serve as a bridge between the finance team, IT departments, and external vendors.
• Engage in user acceptance testing, closely tracking progress and proactively addressing any outstanding issues.
• Identify areas for functional and technical enhancements, optimization, and alignment with business needs within SAP systems.
• A smaller aspect of the role includes overseeing the month-end closing process for select entities.
