An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join a growing and dynamic commercial construction business based in the inner-city suburbs of Brisbane. The Role
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, adaptable, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and wider team to manage daily finance and admin tasks, with a particular focus on accounts payable.
Processing and allocating a high volume of invoices, coordinating approvals, and assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
Monitoring and managing the shared admin inbox and handling fluctuating communication volumes
Supporting month-end processes, including reconciliation activities and reporting
Maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets, ensuring timely updates and consistent filing practices
Using the Cheops system for daily finance functions, and adapting to varying workloads, especially around end-of-month periods
About You
If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while supporting a busy team. You bring experience in finance, admin, or office management, ideally in a construction or project-based environment. This could be the opportunity for you.
