Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking a new team member to join us as Finance Manager-Retirement Living, supporting our portfolio of 27 Retirement Villages throughout New South Wales and the ACT. This role is a true partnership, advisory and support role working with our leadership team with the Retirement Living business unit.

You will be supported by a small team of Financial Accountants to ensure efficient financial management, reporting and governance across Retirement Living. You will build strong and collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders including the senior leadership team, the General Manager-Retirement Living, Regional Managers and Village Managers.

You will:

• Lead the month end and year end processes, ensuring high quality financial control and governance behaviours
• As a proven people leader, you will, develop your team, reviewing their performance, providing feedback and coaching, to achieve personal and organisational development objectives
• Manage robust financial reporting practices across Retirement Living
• Develop a strong focus on cashflow and profit and loss drivers, to identify and boost opportunities for business growth
• Prepare sound financial modelling for the Retirement Living business, including preparing budgets and forecasts

We would expect you to demonstrate:

• Significant and demonstrable experience as a commercially focused Finance Manager, CPA/CA qualified
• Exposure to finance work in the Aged Care/ Retirement Living sector is not essential but would be extremely advantageous
• Proven ability to engage with and influence business stakeholders, in a collegiate and consultative manner
• Willingness to travel to our Retirement Living sites across NSW/ ACT on an ad hoc basis, necessitating a full, clean driving licence
