Your Responsibilities
Lead the monthly financial closing process for both Malaysia and overseas reporting, including the approval of all accounting entries and preparation of key financial statements such as P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, tax computations, and other relevant reports.
Maintain and update project cash flow forecasts.
Ensure timely reconciliation and updating of audit and tax schedules related to both income statement and balance sheet items.
Review tax estimates in coordination with the Group Tax Department for periodic self-assessment filings.
Coordinate with external stakeholders and support or lead the team in preparing audit documentation and checklists ahead of audit engagements.
Support the annual budgeting process and periodic financial reviews.
Prepare and analyze monthly profit recognition and monitor project financial feasibility updates.
Lead the preparation of draft audited financial statements in collaboration with the finance team.
Liaise with internal and external parties, including bankers, auditors, and business units, to support financial operations and reporting activities.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
Exposure to the construction and property development industry is a plus.
Strong team player with a positive attitude, high sense of responsibility, and solid analytical and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
