LaSalle Network is hiring a Finance Manager for a fast-paced, high-impact media agency in New York City. This hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home) is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in client-driven environments and knows how to run point on payroll and billing for 300+ employees.
The ideal candidate has experience in media, advertising, or agency settings and knows how to steer financial planning, reporting, and forecasting with precision. You'll report directly to the Director of Finance and help lead a team of Senior Analysts and offshore support staff. Finance Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee monthly payroll processes and ensure accuracy across employee types (staff, freelance, contractor)
Lead client billing and revenue tracking in coordination with billing teams
Prepare and review monthly/quarterly budgets and perform variance analysis
Manage month-end close, accruals, deferrals, and journal entries
Build staffing and re-org models reflecting transfers, raises, and promotions
Direct the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting functions across multiple business units
Lead a team of two Senior Analysts and offshore staff, while collaborating across finance and operations
Support audits and strategic financial initiatives
Finance Manager Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5 years of financial planning and accounting experience
Strong experience with payroll, client finance, and billing
Prior leadership experience; ability to manage and develop a team
Advanced Excel skills; FRP system experience preferred
Media, advertising, or agency finance background strongly preferred
Hybrid work flexibility (3 days onsite in NYC)
