Our client is a sports union entity that provides support for players and their opportunities, is hiring a finance manager to oversee all royalty and sponsorship accounting, collections, billings, and other related contract analytics.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage all royalty accounting and contract payments
• Manage the revenue recognition function through contract review, revenue and deferred revenue reconciliation activities, analysis and reporting
• Review and analyze reporting to ensure completeness and accuracy of royalty and sponsorship revenues
• Synthesize at times complex royalty reports into digestible, easy-to-read grids
• Assist in royalty revenue forecasting
• Monitor and analyze account receivables and past due balances to ensure prompt payment
• Prepare quarterly revenue and other external reports, as necessary
• Support business development activities to track trends, grow sales, and make recommendations
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
• 4+ years relevant experience with contracts and licensed intellectual property
• Experience managing a royalty software solution
• Ability to manage a large roster of licensees and maintain confidential matters
  
  

Salary Range

$100,000-$140,000
