Summary

The Finance Manager role is a strategic business partner to multiple leaders within the organization, providing essential decision support through financial leadership, quantitative modeling, analytical insights, and thought partnership. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and maximizing both top and bottom line company performance.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strong partner to manufacturing, supply chain, and strategic sourcing leaders; prepare and present financial expectations and results to functional teams; educate and guide the business using key financial and operational metrics.
  • Oversee forecasting and budgeting processes indirectly.
  • Conduct financial statement analysis, offering insights and business performance reporting including revenue and expense analysis.
  • Provide decision support and insights that empower business leaders to design and implement profitable business strategies.
  • Engage in key project work including business case development, metric analysis, and support for senior management.
  • Prepare reporting materials including monthly business review documents and weekly/monthly KPI reports.


Position Requirements:

  • 6+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, preferably in a decision support capacity.
  • BA/BS Degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills along with effective partnering and educational abilities to collaborate with non-financial management teams.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills; experience with forecast model building is a plus.
  • Proven experience in developing, following, and continually improving monthly/quarterly processes/tools.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of profit growth drivers.
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to present complex information in an accessible format for diverse audiences.
  • Adept at navigating a fast-paced environment while embracing ambiguity.
  • Advanced Excel skills; intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Familiarity with Oracle accounting systems and BI tools (e.g., OBIEE, Essbase).
  • A self-driven, persuasive, independent thinker who demonstrates strong analytical capabilities.
