Summary
Job Title: Finance Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Operations and Reporting:
Deliver comprehensive financial services to assigned Business Units.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, develop annual budgets, create monthly forecasts, and perform variance analyses.
Policy Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure adherence to company and business units financial policies, internal controls, and procedures.
Oversee Business unit audits and manage timely submission of tax filings.
State and Federal Compliance:
Develop expertise in financial management specific to assigned states.
File all required state and statutory financial reports.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Serve as a financial advisor to charter or district partners, boards, and officers.
Provide strategic financial insights and guidance as needed.
Project Leadership:
Act as project manager for local and corporate financial initiatives, coordinating efforts across departments to achieve objectives.
Funding and Grants:
Prepare applications and submissions for state and federal funding programs.
Respond to funding audits, prepare interim financial reports, and pursue additional grant and funding opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage a small team of 1-2 employees.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of senior-level financial analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
Expertise in ERP systems, particularly in financial applications (Oracle ERP experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and internal controls.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Exceptional analytical and research capabilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
