Manager - Finance Control

Location: Nigeria

Salary Package (USD)

• Base Salary: $4,000 per month
• Local Allowance: $500 per month (for local expenses)
• Additional Benefits: Accommodation, Car, Driver, Housemaid (provided by the company)
• Leave: 30 days per year (with company-provided round-trip airfare to India)

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Work on monthly, quarterly, and yearly closure of books of accounts, MIS and reporting to investors and other stakeholders as needed.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance, variances from Budgets
• Ensure compliance with relevant AS and other reporting requirements

Accounting Operations:

• Oversee the accounting department and ensure the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
• Manage key controlling areas like accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxation and general ledger activities
• Manage multi entities set up for accounting and reporting.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor, manage and forecast the organization’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity
• Develop cash flow forecasts and implement strategies to optimize cash position
• Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing arrangements with lenders
• Work on minimizing the financial risk and improving the financial health of the organization

Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws and regulations
• Engage and work effectively with tax consultants and advisors to closure assessments
• Working with business teams and supporting business changes to ensure compliance with tax laws.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and mentor the large, qualified team of finance
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development needs.
• Partner with business leaders and peers to drive the organization goals.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
• Experience: 05-10 years in finance & accounting roles.
• Industry Preference: Finance & Accounting (Any Industry)
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in ERP systems, financial software, and advanced Excel.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent team management, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and motivate teams to drive financial efficiency.
• Skilled in examining, developing, re-engineering, and implementing financial policies and procedures.
