Summary
This Finance Manager role is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for end-to-end finance management, business partnering, and strategic support in a fast-paced FMCG, consumer goods, pharma, or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in accounting, reporting, tax, and SAP ERP, as well as a proven track record in finance business partnering and MIS.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Malaysian and international accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, manage tax planning activities, and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Drive and oversee all aspects of SAP ERP across finance, including modules related to accounting, controlling, procurement, and inventory management.
- Serve as a finance business partner to the CEO and senior management, providing actionable insights, decision support, and financial analysis to drive business strategy and operational performance
- Develop and present management information system (MIS) reports, highlighting key business drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks to safeguard company assets.
- Mentor, coach, and develop the finance team to build capabilities and ensure succession planning.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process automation and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business objectives and support integrated business planning.
Requirements-
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive finance experience in FMCG, consumer goods, pharma, or manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP across all finance-related module.
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, management reporting, and MIS.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
