About the role:
Based in South Australia, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of NDIS financial management, compliance, and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare and present financial reports (actual and forecast), including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and NDIS financial regulations.
- Oversee the NDIS billing process, ensuring timely and accurate claims submission.
- Monitor revenue streams and reconcile payments received from the NDIS, plan managers, and self-managed participants.
- Lead forecasting and planning activities, including annual planning/budgeting cycle, working closely with leaders across the business to ensure buy-in to financial performance targets.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support organisational goals and NDIS funding requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the NDIS or healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience with NDIS pricing, claims processes, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- CPA or CA qualification or equivalent (or working towards one).
