What You'll Do
You will join the Finance team at BCG’s Milan office (corporate functions), playing an active role in one of BCG’s major global transformation programs – the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-impact environment supporting the data migration and system rollout across the EMC (Eastern Mediterranean and Caspian) system.
You’ll work closely with functional leads and key business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, contribute to testing and validation phases, and help the team ensure a smooth post-go-live experience. Your work will directly support the accuracy and consistency of the core data that powers BCG's financial operations.
You Are Good At
- Managing and cleaning data with high precision and attention to detail;
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and adapting to dynamic project needs;
- Prioritizing tasks and adhering to tight timelines;
- Preparing and validating datasets for migration and testing;
- Analyzing data quality and preparing reports to monitor progress;
- Organizing meetings and checkpoints to align with project milestones;
- Understanding finance processes and their link to broader business operations
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics;
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in Italian and English (C1);
- A positive, cooperative mindset with a strong sense of accountability;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team;
- Strong accuracy and attention to details.
Who You'll Work With
You will be working within the Finance department of BCG, responsible for preserving the intellectual capital, assets, and integrity of BCG. This team makes a decisive impact on the firm’s direction, performance, and risk-management models. Finance jobs include Accounting and Reporting, Planning, Controlling and Analysis, Tax and Treasury, Financial Systems, Procurement and Payroll.
