Overview:

At Pronghorn, we are passionate about building the future of the Spirits industry through innovation, diversity, and leadership. Our Spirits Internship Program (SIP) offers a unique 10-week paid experience designed for college students and graduating seniors to gain hands-on exposure to the business of Spirits, entrepreneurship, and brand-building.


SIP participants will experience hybrid work, with the opportunity to collaborate with teams in our Alpharetta, GA, or New York, NY locations. Interns can expect a structured program with project ownership, professional development workshops, leadership networking, and real-world business impact.


Pronghorn Partner Collaboration: (HQ)

Pronghorn partners with some of the leading Spirits companies in the industry to create meaningful, real-world experiences for our interns. Through SIP, participants may have the opportunity to support initiatives connected to our partners, gaining unique exposure to the broader Spirits ecosystem.


Specific project assignments and potential partner collaborations will be discussed during the interview process to ensure the best fit for each intern's interests and skills.


General Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements to support business operations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes across business units.
  • Conduct financial data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of financial models for enhanced forecasting and reporting accuracy.
  • Analyze vendor spending patterns (e.g., Rippling spend) and prepare reports highlighting cost efficiencies and spending trends.
  • Participate in the Datarails Financial Reporting Project, helping to standardize and streamline reporting processes for live data accessibility across business units.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business unit leaders to gather insights and improve financial reporting tools.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Interest in the beverage alcohol or spirits industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Rippling, Datarails, and Ekos platforms is a bonus but not required.

Salary:

$22-25 per hour
