Your team

You will join Tanya and Felix in our finance function. You will work closely with both during your internship. Finance is part of our internal operations.

Your opportunity

During your internship, you will be involved in the following activities:

• Supporting the day-to-day management of company expenses and financial operations
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and key business metrics for both internal and external stakeholders
• Participating in various financial workflows and process improvements across the finance function
• Helping to document accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and audit readiness
• Taking part in projects aimed at enhancing financial systems and tools as the company scales
  
  
  

Your Skills

• You have a background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• You have a strong interest in financial management and accounting.
• You are comfortable working with spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets) and have an analytical mindset
• You're detail-oriented and enjoy solving problems and improving processes
• You're curious and eager to learn about how finance supports growth in a scale-up company
• You communicate clearly and can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Requirements

• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands. We don't support visa applications for applicants outside the EU
• You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months (Dutch or equivalent university).
• You are able to commit to a six-month full-time (40 hour/week) internship
  
  
  

Compensation, location, & start-date

• This is a paid internship. The monthly reimbursement will be 1,000 EUR.
• We offer a hybrid work setup that combines the flexibility of working from home with in-office collaboration in Amsterdam. If you live outside Amsterdam, SkillLab will cover your train commuting expenses to the office (usually twice a week work from the office).
• We accept applications on a rolling basis and we prefer a start date in June-July 2025

Our selection procedure

• You apply for the role and we review your profile
• We will invite you for a short screening call
• We will invite you for a 60min interview if we find that you are a good fit. The interview will involve you preparing a short assignment
• If we think that you are the ideal candidate for the role, then we will offer you the internship and discuss logistics
