Finance and Operations Analyst (Hybrid, 2X onsite, San Francisco Bay Area)

A successful VC firm in the San Francisco Bay Area is actively seeking a 1-4+ year finance and operations professional to join their team! This opportunity will be a mix of finance, operations and additional administrative tasks as needed by the team. Searching for someone who is looking to take that next step in their career. This is a hybrid role (2X onsite) that is offering a strong compensation package (base+ bonus).

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Assist in managing fund-level financial reporting, capital calls, and distributions in coordination with fund administrators and accountants
  • Track portfolio company investments, valuations, and financial performance
  • Support audit and tax processes by liaising with external service providers
  • Help prepare quarterly and annual investor reports and internal financial summaries
  • Monitor accounts payable/receivable and expense reimbursements
  • Oversee vendor relationships, subscriptions, and technology tools used across the firm
  • Coordinate compliance filings and help with internal policy tracking
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to partners (calendar management, travel, correspondence)
  • Manage the San Francisco office including supplies, equipment, and mail
  • Must be willing to work on a hybrid schedule (2X in office)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • 1-4+ years of financial operations experience, ideally within a financial services company
