Position: Finance and Accounting Consultant

Location: Rockville, MD - Hybrid

Terms: Fulltime

Skills and Qualifications:

• 4+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial analysis in a technology product environment.
• 2+ years of senior-level accounting management experience in a fast-paced technology company.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and experience managing compliance with SOC 2 and other regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance reporting at federal, state, and local levels.
• Experience with payroll and a proven ability to streamline accounting processes.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced skills in Excel. Prior experience in [list technologies] preferred but not a requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree and CPA preferred but not required).
• Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a strong focus on process optimization
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
