Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunications Field Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the extraction, installation and maintenance of telecommunication cabling including fibre optic networks, copper cabling, and wireless communication systems. Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain telecommunications fibre optic cable. Install pit and pipe infrastructure. Extract redundant copper cabling. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working on telecommunications infrastructure. Collaborate with other team members and clients to ensure timely project completion. Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs for reporting purposes. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Requirements: Minimum two years of proven experience in telecommunications is required. Relevant tertiary qualification/s in telecommunications is preferred. Strong technical understanding of telecommunications systems and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, and plans. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
