Job Description

NETZSCH Premier Technologies, LLC is looking for a Field Service Technician to be based out of their Exton, PA facility. This person will travel (up to 80% mostly in the US and Canada) to customer sites to provide installation, start-up, troubleshooting, training and maintenance support for the equipment we manufacture. This is a highly technical position that must be able to interact with customers in person, and via phone and email.

To provide our customers with exceptional service and meet their needs, the Field Service Technician will perform the following duties among others:

  • Provide technical services to customers relating to set up, use, operation and maintenance of NETZSCH equipment.
  • Perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting of NETZSCH equipment.
  • Test or assist in testing operation of completed product.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with NETZSCH machinery.
  • Deliver comprehensive training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Create and maintain detailed service reports, documentation, and customer records.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their concerns and providing technical guidance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site and in the facility.
  • Contribute to the development of service procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a mechanical, hands-on position is required. Demonstrated mechanical ability or technical training will be considered in lieu of formal work experience. Current driver’s license and passport (or the ability to obtain one) is required. In addition, these skills are highly desirable:

  • The ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics and the ability to demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • The ability to use mechanical hand tools and electrical trouble shooting tools
  • Must be able to travel, mostly in the US and Canada, up to 80%. (Very minimal travel will be on weekends.)
