Isomass Scientific Inc. is looking for a full-time Field Service Representative based in Calgary or Greater Toronto Area or USA. This is an opportunity for someone with a passion for science and problem solving to become a valuable resource to the analytical instrumentation community within North America. The role of the field service representative is a fundamental brick of our business.

Duties and responsibilities

• Install and service of laboratory instruments/parts at customer sites
• Provide technical support for marketing, sales and scientific activities
• Travel in-country and internationally for work or training
• Represent the company in a professional manner in all dealings with customers
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on the nature, type and application of products
• Address challenges and opportunities in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma/degree in the field of chemistry, electronics or related
• Troubleshooting and diagnosis skills applicable to electronic instruments
• Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs with assistance and 30 lbs alone throughout the day
• Ability to meet personal and public health related requirements
• Professional working proficiency in English. Other language skill is a plus
• Willing to travel up to 90% of time once fully trained. Driving license and own car
• Hands-on experience in analytical laboratory instruments is a plus
