Responsibilities
Lone Star Turbo is seeking a talented
Project Manager to join our Field Service group. Some key responsibilities in this role include
Quoting, Selling and Project managing Field Services - Overhauls, Parts, Rentals and Field Services. The right candidate for this opportunity would have core competencies in
customer relations and communications, handing internal and external conflict resolution, documenting projects, and coordinating startup of equipment. Essentially, this individual would be responsible for the complete
quoting, planning, executing, and completion of projects. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide direct support to customers after an order is received
- Advocate, coordinate, communicate, and provide exceptional service to customers from first contact to the expiration of any respective warranty periods
- Facilitate commissioning equipment with field service and customer
- Oversee, release, and monitor respective projects from start to finish
- Coordinate startup of equipment
- Maintain budget and profitability of projects - Minimize scope creep
- Order project-specific items, in field service scope
- Identify potential cost-saving and opportunities for value-add engineering
Qualifications
Required
- Relevant Industry sales and project management experience
- Relevant hands-on mechanical experience and ability to do the following:
- Interpret engineering drawings (wiring/GA/MFG)
- Exceptional understanding of mechanical rotating equipment
- Exceptional understanding of electrical components
- Exceptional understanding of Mechanical system integration
- Understand detailed technical specifications for a full scope of the project
- Exceptional understanding of Blower/compressor performance
- Experience with maintenance of troubleshooting of rotating equipment and PLC's
Preferred
- Project or Account Management Experience
- 5 or more years of experience in Field Service Project Management, Project engineer position(s), and/or Field Supervisor Position(s).
- Technical college degree
- Hands-on mechanical experience and proven mechanical aptitude
- Sales experience and Aptitude

Schedule:
Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay eligibility starts after 1 year of employment

Compensation (Salary - Exempt): $65,000 - $95,000
