Summary

As a Field Service Engineer, you are the face of ZEISS at the customer's location. You are never in the same place and every day looks different. You install, maintain and repair, see opportunities and provide optimal service to the customer. You are responsible for the activities within the Benelux, with a focus on the Netherlands. Your team in the Benelux consists of 17 technical colleagues and you report to the Service Manager Benelux.


What does your day look like?

  • You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of ZEISS's high-end medical equipment;
  • In addition, you explain and train the customer about the first-line support for such instruments.
  • You have an eye for new needs of existing customers for maximum customer satisfaction;
  • You manage your administration, measurement tools, test equipment and technical documentation and are involved in the construction of any conferences.
  • You link instruments to the hospital network.



What do we expect from you?

  • You have a higher technical diploma or equivalent experience, in electronics / precision mechanics with an affinity for optics. In addition, affinity with automation is necessary.
  • You are creative and think in terms of total solutions for our customers.
  • It is a responsible position in the medical sector where sometimes work has to be done under pressure. We assume that you are stress-resistant and flexible.
  • To speak to the customers well, you speak Dutch and English, possibly knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Driving is part of the job. A driving license B is a hard requirement.
