Position Overview
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at client sites. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure equipment at customer locations
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures and malfunctions
- Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment usage
- Document service activities and generate reports for management
- Collaborate with other engineering and technical teams to improve service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of PLC, MCC, and motor systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
