Support customers by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing food processing equipment, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure high service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Engineering and Production teams to solve technical issues.
Ability to understand technical documents, procedures, and flowcharts.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance (calibration, system checks).
Provide technical support via phone and on-site visits.
Accurately complete service reports and QA documentation.
Understand customer needs and assist the sales team with technical questions.
Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
Follow company policies and Quality Management System requirements.
Communicate service updates to account managers.
Travel as needed (some overnight stays may be required).
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the machinery department.
Business-level English required; Japanese language skills are a plus but not mandatory
Proficient in basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills for internal and external coordination
High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative work
Interest in Japanese (food) culture
