Job Description:

As a Field Service Business Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Field Service Team with day-to-day operations, customer requests, and project coordination. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to ensure service jobs are estimated accurately, executed efficiently, and completed to customer satisfaction. You will interact with customers, outside sales representatives, field service technicians, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate small service jobs and follow up with customers on active quotations and orders.
• Coordinate with the outside sales team on customer requests and service needs.
• Process purchase orders, job sheets, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with Field Service Technicians, customers, and subcontractors to coordinate logistics and schedules for service jobs.
• Manage short-term projects from start to successful completion.
• Ensure seamless collaboration across departments in a medium-sized organization.
• Work comfortably in a technical product setting, learning and understanding key service processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Strong numerical skills—ability to handle discounts, percentages, proportions, and currency conversions.
• Typing speed of 50 WPM with 90% accuracy.
• Ability to read and analyze business information for quoting, invoicing, and estimating.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interaction skills.
• Construction or general contractor experience is a plus.
• Direct experience with estimating or bidding is also a plus.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
