Job Title: Field Sales Engineer
A high energy, New England based Manufacturers’ Representative Firm located in Billerica MA, is looking for an outgoing technical sales engineer to manage and grow business at existing and emerging OEMs. The candidate will work in a customer facing role, promoting leading edge semiconductor & electronic components to New England’s world class electronics manufacturers. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, every changing environment. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detailed-oriented, quick learner, and able to multi-task. Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing technical expertise, various sales tools, and relationships with customer engineering teams to identify new projects and programs
- Managing and quantifying leads, as well as manage the commercial aspects of customer relationships
- Developing, forecasting, and monitoring of an annual sales plan for revenue growth and design win growth
- Uncovering and winning every possible customer opportunity for the product solutions that we represent
- Visiting customer sites to build and nurture relationships
- Supporting distribution partners in their sales activities
- Maintaining and updating opportunity status via CRM tools on a weekly basis
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred,
- Ability to present moderate to highly technical materials to diverse audiences
- Proactive problem-solving experience with demonstrated analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 3+ years in technical field sales, preferably with semiconductor experience
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency and experience in utilizing CRM tools
- Self-motivated and persistent
