CEIS | Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking Field Quality Engineers to support a high-profile data center construction project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Field Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring work is performed to the highest quality standards through inspections, documentation, and coordination with subcontractors and construction teams. This role will work closely with QA/QC leadership and construction management to verify that all work meets project specifications, code requirements, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Identify non-conformances and assist in resolving quality issues through field coordination and follow-up inspections.
• Monitor installation and construction practices for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes as applicable.
• Review and verify documentation related to inspections, test results, and contractor quality control submissions.
• Support commissioning and turnover processes by ensuring proper documentation and punch-list closure.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, construction managers, and client representatives to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the projects QA/QC documentation, inspection records, and turnover packages.
• Participate in quality audits, readiness reviews, and progress meetings to support overall quality objectives.
• Uphold safety and compliance requirements in the field while performing quality functions.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of field quality assurance/quality control experience in construction, with at least 2 years on data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and applicable codes (IBC, NEC, etc.).
• Proficient in using inspection tools, documentation systems, and construction management software (e.g., Procore, BIM 360).
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to interface with multiple stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and willing to work full-time onsite in Cheyenne, WY.
