Job Description
We are looking for a
Field Operations Manager to manage and support the toll equipment maintenance contract field technicians. This position will be a
full-time and
remote with travel in the Orlando and Tampa areas.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and ensure compliance with CAI procedures and requests for field technicians
- Maintain meticulous files and logs to meet record-keeping and follow-up requirements
- Regularly interface with managers and supervisors to report issues and concerns
- Mentor, coach, and provide training to supplemental team leads
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and maintain communication with field technicians
- Streamline field operational and functional systems for better efficiency
- Screen resumes for new hires to ensure they meet minimal contract requirements
- Conduct performance evaluations of team members and manage employee onboarding and exiting processes
- Oversee and sustain fleet maintenance to ensure operational readiness
Required
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strong ability to lead and motivate others
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft 365 applications
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and pass quarterly MVR checks
- Availability for any shift and on-call when requested
Preferred
- Experience in managing field operations related to toll equipment or similar industries
Physical Demands
- Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, federal, state, and local standards
- Regularly required to engage in physical activities such as bending, squatting, crawling, and maneuvering in tight spaces; carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds; climbing, pulling, pushing, standing, twisting, and walking
- Must be able to drive a vehicle in accordance with written policies
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and near moving traffic
