Summary/Objective
The Field Manager plays a critical role to recruit, support, and train Keller installers. The FM serves as an ambassador to the installers on a face-to-face basis and represents the company in the highest sense of professionalism. Successful candidates will be talented team managers, as well as the focused on establishing and improving installations guidelines, evaluating installer performance, and communicate best practices to others throughout the region.
Essential Functions

- Recruitment of quality installers.
- Hire, onboard, and train employee installers using established processes.
- Onboard subcontractors using established onboarding processes
- Engagement with local office staff to understand the labor needs.
- Assess and evaluate installers (EI and subcontractors)
- Fill knowledge gaps through additional training and development programs.
- Measure, analyze, and communicate progress toward strategic goals
- Performs job site inspections to ensure company policies and procedures are followed by flooring installers
- Display and provide everyday leadership to all employees, contractors, and guests within the office
- Supports operations in the achievement of regularly set metrics for customer experience, operational excellence, and financial responsibility
- Help build and maintain partnerships with Lowes stores as needed to build confidence in Keller Services

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct report supervisory duties/responsibilities to 1099 and/or w2 installers and Keller /or support staff. Position reports to Regional Manager.
Work Environment: This job operates in a warehouse office and field operation environments. This role may frequently drive; routinely uses warehouse equipment such forklifts/pallets, and standard office equipment such as computers, laptops, phones, and printers.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must enjoy fast paced environment, requires proper lifting technique up to 50lbs, is regularly required to talk or hear, bend, stoop, or twist. Most duties performed while sitting or standing for long periods of time; driving and walking; use of hands/fingers; reach with hands and arms. Exposures to various temperature changes; requires reading, writing and average math skills.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Position is available as Full Time or Part Time Regular to support the operational initiatives. Evening, weekend availability may be required.
Travel: IS required for this position (local travel/out of the are travel may be required)
Minimum Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or GED equivalent
- Proven leadership/influence management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Must have valid drivers license and maintain current insurance status
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+yrs experience Flooring installations or construction
- Proficient in speaking business/professional Spanish
