Gogoro GoStation (Battery Swap Station) Field Engineer's job description would be focussing on installation, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure for battery swapping stations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the swapping process, including hardware, software, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Implementation:

Develop and oversee the installation of battery swapping stations GoStation, including the process of the swapping mechanism, power grid integration, and safety features.

Testing and Validation:

Conduct thorough testing and validation of the battery swapping process, ensuring that it is safe, efficient, and reliable.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Independently manage 30 GoStations located in Delhi and Gurgaon, including:

Monthly maintenance for each GoStation (approx. 1 - 2 hour per site), covering functional testing and safety checks.

Troubleshooting based on auto-generated work orders; carry necessary spare parts to the site for repairs.

Administrative tasks such as work order management and spare part issuance/return following Gogoro SOPs.

GoStation Site Repair Projects:

Collaborate with vendor for comstruction tasks like installation, relocation, electrical repair, or decommissioning of GoStations.

Perform on-site inspection with vendor after work is completed per the purchase order to initiate payment.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that the Gostation is operated in accordance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.

Data Analysis and Optimization:

Analyze data collected from the Gostation to identify areas for improvement and optimization of the battery swapping process.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with other internal & external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the station.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in battery management systems, or a related field.

Hands-on experience in field maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.

Skills:

Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of relevant battery standards and regulations.

Understanding of battery manufacturing processes.

Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

Basic knowledge of data communication protocols and network technologies.
