GHD's Construction group has a great opportunity for a Field Engineer. In this role, you will work on project sites to assist the Superintendent with planning, coordinating, analyzing and understanding the scope of work for a variety of projects, managing paperwork and change orders, communicating with clients, and coordinating schedules. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: * Assisting with project proposals including reviewing requests for proposals, obtaining quotes and estimating * Assisting the Project Manager with managing project timelines, deadlines and requirements * Acting as key point of contact for ordering materials and equipment * GPS surveying and equipment set up * Estimating takeoffs * Assisting with weekly timesheets, expense reports and project tracking * Providing training to other team members as needed What you will bring to the team: * up to 2 years of professional construction experience * AutoCAD / Civil 3D experience * Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and rapidly changing priorities and project demands * Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team and independently * Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel * Able & willing to travel throughout the United States up to 50% of the time Take on some of the world's toughest challenges - with everyone at GHD backing you every step of the way.
