Summary

Job Title: Field Engineer Job Description The Field Engineer will be responsible for developing HVAC layouts using design documents and equipment submittal data for field applications. The role includes reviewing plans in Revit & AutoCAD, conducting fieldwork with specialized instruments to measure and adjust air and water flow rates for HVAC systems, and collaborating with design engineers to address and resolve issues. The engineer will also be tasked with compiling data for final test result reports. Responsibilities * Develop HVAC layouts using design documents and equipment submittal data for field applications. * Review plans in Revit & AutoCAD. * Conduct fieldwork with specialized instruments to measure and adjust air and water flow rates for HVAC systems. * Collaborate with design engineers to address and resolve issues. * Compile data for final test result reports. Essential Skills * Experience in construction and field engineering. * Proficiency in HVAC systems and blueprint reading. * Knowledge of electrical systems. * Strong communication abilities. * Proficiency in mathematics. * Attention to detail and organization in paperwork, with clear and neat handwriting. * Competence in using HVAC DDC control systems. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Preferably has an associate's degree in an engineering-related field. Work Environment The position is onsite in the CR/IC area, primarily working on K-12 and healthcare projects. The role involves collaboration with project managers on site, and there is no physical office space. Employees are provided with a company vehicle. Once employed directly, insurance costs are 90% covered. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
