Overview: Overview: Staxmatic is seeking a Construction Engineer to serve as the liaison between Commercial, Construction, and Operations teams. This role ensures that Mechanical and Plumbing construction projects meet design specifications, safety standards, timelines, and budget constraints. In addition, this engineer will promote synergy with the dissemination and implementation of ideas, thoughts and details across commercial, engineering and construction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect field construction for compliance with design drawings, codes, and quality standards
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction codes, including mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC regulations
Identify and resolve potential issues related to HVAC and Plumbing infrastructure before they impact project timelines
Review and verify the accuracy of the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure that all components, materials, and equipment listed are correct and aligned with the project specifications
Perform quality scans of completed work to ensure it aligns with the design and specifications outlined in the project plans
Participate in project planning and meetings to contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
Support continuous improvement by sharing technical knowledge and innovative solutions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Engineering
3-5 years of experience in commercial construction and/or MEP/HVAC and infrastructure design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Civil 3D. Experience with surveying is a plus
Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems in MEP/HVAC and infrastructure design
Mathematical proficiency for quick on-site calculations
Effective time management in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Leadership abilities to guide teams and coordinate project execution
