Our client a young, fast-growing company operating in the IT infrastructure space with applications across aerospace, defence, automotive and semiconductors are current recruiting for a Field Application Engineer to join the expanding team in Paris, France.
Role
As a Field Application Engineer, you will help clients adopt and integrate a new solution into cloud platforms, secure embedded devices, and cryptographic environments requiring high assurance and compliance (eIDAS, CC, ISO 27001, etc.).
You’ll support clients from architecture to deployment on:
- Cloud HSM & key management
- Secure execution of crypto workloads
- Post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Zero Trust edge computing with TEEs
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct technical workshops with cloud, HSM, or embedded security teams
- Define and validate secure execution flows (PQC algorithms, crypto accelerators, key attestation)
- Help integrate the new solution with HSMs, TPMs, or confidential computing frameworks
- Lead PoCs, support cycles, and custom feature alignment for regulated deployments
- Collaborate on technical documentation for customers & certifiers
Profile
We’re looking for a proactive, technically strong, and customer-focused engineer with a hands-on mindset and the ability to manage technical conversations at all levels.
Required
- 5+ years in cybersecurity / embedded / cryptography fields
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols, secure key storage, and hardware trust anchors
- Hands-on with C/C++, PKCS#11, TLS/SSL, or OpenSSL
- Experience with cloud HSM platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Thales Luna, Utimaco, Entrust)
- Good understanding of TEE/TrustZone, secure boot, key provisioning
- Fluent in English (French is a plus)
Bonus points for:
- Worked on PQC migrations (NIST candidates, hybrid certs)
- Familiarity with eIDAS, FIPS, Common Criteria, or SESIP
- RISC-V Secure/TEE architectures or confidential VM/container setups (AMD SEV, Intel TDX, etc.)
