Field and Lab Test Engineer in Austin, TX

As a Field and Lab Test Engineer for NFC and Wi-Fi/BT technologies, you’ll be troubleshooting and analyzing the performance of NFC/UWB and wireless connectivity in both lab and field environments. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and analysis of NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies in both lab and field environments.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing NFC and UWB with various products.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for resolving them.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing results.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments related to NFC and UWB.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technologies
• Experience with test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to local field sites for testing and data collection.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with mac office tools (keynote)
• Must be willing to travel on short notice. This position requires 10% US domestic travel. Travel will be 3-4 days at a time when needed
• Python scripting experience strongly preferred
