Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated manual mill and lathe supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with expertise in various manufacturing processes and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in all aspects of feed production. Required Skills Ability to supervise small shop Must have 20 years manual lathe and mill experience Experience including turning, threading, boring, milling, taping, drilling, and compound angle work 3 and 4 jaw operations Ability to lift 50lbs Read blueprints and understand tolerances Required Experience Be able to set up and perform work on manual lathe and Bridgeport type mill Do instrument quality work Complex assembly and fitting Repair machine parts Have own tools Supervisor of 5 years Long bed lathe and mill work Collet and large chuck work Composites, plastics, and high strength metal materials Close tolerances and fine finishes Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Machining: 10 years (Required) Supervising: 5 years (Required) Production management: 1 year (Preferred) Management: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77021 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Houston, TX 77021: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
