Job Description
Fault Management Expert is responsible for monitoring the network, identifies the network related faults. Conduct first level investigation of the fault incident or problem and localization of the failure area, viz network, infrastructure etc.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Involve analyzing network performance data, identifying root causes of faults, and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitoring network performance through key metrics like signal strength, interference levels, and call quality.
- Developing and implementing fault management procedures. This could involve creating documentation, training other engineers, and ensuring that the network is properly monitored and maintained.
- Working with vendors and other stakeholders, cross functional teams, and other key stake holders.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest technologies, in the evolving radio network landscape.
Key Skills And Experience
You Have:
- B.E./B.Tech/ with 5+ years of experience in Fault Management operations in Radio technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G).
- Deeper knowledge of cellular standards like GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G, as well as radio frequency engineering principles.
- Experience with fault management tools and systems.
- Experience in identify and diagnose network issues is crucial.
- Good oral and written English communication skills
If would be nice if you also had:
- Exposure to network management systems (NMS), performance monitoring tools, and troubleshooting software
