Overall Purpose: The Faro Arm Inspector-Programmer will program and utilize the Faro Arm to inspect machined components and other hardware to verify compliance to our specifications as well as customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Program a Faro Arm using Verisurf Dimensional inspection using a Faro Arm Accurately perform visual inspection for workmanship, and dimensional inspection to check for conformance to drawing requirements on all products in Receiving Inspection Perform documented First Article reports as needed Interface with our suppliers regarding, quality issues and receiving inspection results of supplier parts Review and document inspection results on various types of shop travelers, process sheets, etc. Be involved in internal and external auditing Assist other areas as needed, including machine shop in process inspection Follow quality system procedures, policies and instructions Adhere to 5S Standards Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety Other Duties: Other duties based on the needs of the Inspection Department and Quality Department The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
