A corrections facility is seeking a family nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Troy, VA.

This outpatient role is set to start in June or July, with a preferred assignment length of six months, though three months with the option to extend will be considered. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or four 10-hour shifts. The position is for an autonomous NPMDs and PAs will not be considered. There is no call, and the average patient volume is 1820 adult patients per day. Candidates must have a VA license and DEA. The site uses paper charting but utilizes Sapphire for prescriptions, with RN and LPN support staff on site.
