FACILITY SUPERVISOR:
The role of the Facility Supervisor is to sustain the Facility Management Program, by providing the necessary direct supervision of operational support personnel. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for project work assigned by the Facilities Manager/Sr. Facilities Manager. This position is available for a 2nd shift opportunity.
MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
Assist in addressing any and all issues/problems that may still be active Assist Maintenance, Housekeeping and Fleet Management personnel with daily operations On site coverage during weekend Production as required. Communicate regularly with building occupants regarding status of projects. Follow up to make sure work is completed satisfactorily and on time Assist in providing necessary coverage of Managers for training and vacation coverage, or as required. Meet regularly with Site Managers regarding outstanding issues. Investigate, plan, manage, and implement projects given by the Site Manager. Perform safe operating tours to ensure proper operation. Solve building operational issues, including the supervision of outside contractors/vendors
GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING
Assist with the completion of inspections. Order HK supplies as necessary. Assist HK manager with projects that are out of scope. Cover HK Manager as needed. Team Safety Tours
Inspect work to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
Plan and schedule work to subordinate supervisors and/or teams.
Conduct regular briefing for grounds staff.
Ensure discipline, proper attire, and etiquette in subordinate staff.
Vendor management, regular meeting with respective vendors for resolution of site related issues.
Implementation of all standard operating procedures at site to ensure smooth site operations.
Ensure closure of complaints about services and equipment and take corrective action.
Maintain required records of work hours, budgets, and other information.
Regular/ frequent rounds to be taken to inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities.
Check and maintain equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
Brief and de-brief all supervisory staff.
Monitor all cleaning activity, ensure it is done as per set SOP.
Conduct training on regular basis.
Maintain inventory of consumable stock.
Prepare reports related to the site.
Recommend changes that could improve services and increase operational efficiency.
Perform financial tasks, estimating costs and preparing/managing budgets
Qualifications:
Education/training
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience supporting real estate or facilities services
Years of relevant experience
3-5 years of sourcing/ contract management experience
Seven+ years of experience in sourcing / contract management preferred
Other Abilities
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent PC skills, proficient in all MS applications
Excellent Inter-personal skills, organization skills, strong analytical ability, proven ability to lead teams in a decentralized environment
