We're seeking a Facility Controls System Engineer to work in a hybrid capacity supporting our Atlanta, GA office.
We are looking for an engineer with experience in facility-related control systems. The experience should be focused on building automation systems such as HVAC direct digital controls, but additional experience with industrial control systems (SCADA, plant controls, etc.) would be ideal. The candidate should be familiar with the design of these systems but have detailed knowledge of the operation of these systems in the field.
The position is client-facing and requires leading a small team through the entirety of each task scheduling, data gathering, developing recommendations, and documenting and delivering final reports.
Position location is flexible, but expectation is the candidate would have a hybrid work schedule and physically be in a Jacobs office at least 2 days per week.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Automation Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience working with facility-related control systems described above
- Ability to read control drawings, sequences of operations, P&IDs, and I/O Lists
- A basic knowledge of IT and cybersecurity requirements of the facility-related control systems described above
- A basic understanding of HVAC and electrical distribution systems
- Meet requirements to gain access to US Department of Defense installations
- Ability to travel up to 40%

The base salary range for this position is $82,900.00 to $125,400.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
