About The Role
As a CBRE Facilities Sr. Consultant, you will lead all aspects of a variety of complex projects in support of the maintenance and repair program for assigned facilities applying advanced knowledge and innovative solutions to improve operations.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operation of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate soft services for all business units, large departments, or work groups. Establish specifications, solicit bids, negotiate, and participate in contract development.
Review and approve vendor contracts and specify terms of agreements.
Secure necessary operating supplies such as janitorial and maintenance.
Lead all aspects of various services such as maintenance, landscaping, snow/ice removal, and paving.
Point of contact for emergency situations and issues that occur during and outside of normal business hours.
Confirm company and client records are managed according to policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Apply sophisticated knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
Tackle unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having broad impact on the business. Use innovative methods to think beyond existing solutions.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
Work within broad guidelines and policies. Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
Experience in mentoring and developing others within the function. Ability to solve unique problems using innovative solutions.
Expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
