Summary

This position will be located in the Facilities Services Department. The position will assist with inventory management, furniture and equipment moving and storage, and general labor for set-up and take-down of campus events. This may include loading and unloading shelves, organizing inventory, moving furniture and equipment manually and with equipment including hand trucks, dollies, carts and vehicles.

This role will participate in efforts to ensure a safe working environment. This role entails organization, and execution of tasks to ensure a smooth operation while keeping accurate records of inventory movements This role will be responsible will be working closely with campus team members and may also be given individual assignments related to assigned tasks

Essential Functions

65% Facilitate the tracking of items in the warehouse, items being relocated around the campus facilities and grounds, assuring all activities are properly reported and tracked for accountability.

20% Event and furniture setups, including coordination with distribution of materials and equipment to support campus events.

10% Coordinate and assist other Facilities Services staff in managing and maintaining campus facilities with material delivery and light labor tasks.

5% Other duties as assigned
