Job Summary We are hiring a Construction Fabrication Manager immediately! Rieder (Rieder America) is a family-owned business specializing in Glassfiber-reinforced concrete facades, with over 65 years of expertise. Operating in the USA for over 16 years, we have a new manufacturing site in Roselle, IL and facilities in Europe. Rieder operates internationally and offers customers a large network. With 3 locations, as well as sales partners in over 50 countries, the innovative concrete products are used worldwide. Since the introduction of its glassfibre reinforced concrete facade products in 2004, Rieder has continuously expanded its products: The range includes thin large-size panels, narrow slats and three-dimensional shaped elements. We are relocating to Roselle, IL and ready to build a talented and dedicated fabrication team and you may be the perfect fit for our Construction Fabrication Manager position! We are looking for a passionate, solution-driven individual to be the heart of our Warehouse team for Architectural Supply & Exterior Cladding Solutions! Your Task: Own the fabrication and warehouse; hire, train, and oversee the warehouse team Manage receivables and prepare deliveries Maintain and organize inventory, monthly reports, and stock control using Smartsheets and Quickbooks, knowledge on these programs is a plus Fabrication on CNC machines and production of mock-ups; executing and training Heavy-duty forklift operating and handy with tools, and large heavy-duty pallet-making experience, a plus Hardware sorting, picking, packing, and shipping; Sample pack and ship Processing deliverables with urgency and accuracy Collaborate with sales partners and internal teams to deliver exceptional service Build strong customer and vendor relationships to encourage repeat business Post office runs as needed What you need: 5+ years of construction warehouse management, ideally in a related field (fabrication, manufacturing, or construction) CNC manufacturing experience in drilling, cutting, lathe, etc. Train staff using OSHA safety standards, are a must! Dependability, excellent communication, and organizational skills are a must Proficient Microsoft Teams Meetings, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook Knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus (training provided) Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks is a plus, for tracking P&L What to expect: Full-time, on premises 5 days a week, 8-hour shift (hours may vary, depending on projects in progress), potential weekend work needed Medical, dental & vision insurance, Simple IRA with company contribution, vacation time Growth opportunities in a family-owned business A pivotal role in creating many positive customer experiences Chance to work on very interesting, and award-winning jobs!
