Senior Manager, External Financial Reporting
Location: NYC, Hybrid
Salary: $150k-170k base

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Manager of External Financial Reporting to lead our SEC reporting function. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial disclosures across all filings. You'll collaborate closely with our finance leadership, legal, and compliance teams to maintain the highest standards of transparency and regulatory alignment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including 20-Fs, 6-Ks, and proxy statements
• Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations, IFRS/U.S. GAAP standards, and internal controls
• Manage financial statement drafting and XBRL tagging within Workiva
• Serve as a primary contact for external auditors on SEC-related matters
• Maintain strong internal controls to support SOX compliance
• Collaborate with legal, investor relations, and accounting on earnings releases and investor materials
• Monitor changes in accounting and regulatory standards, implementing timely process adjustments
• Mentor a small team of reporting professionals and foster a culture of accuracy and accountability
• Support financial reporting aspects of mergers, acquisitions, or capital market transactions
  

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification
• 10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years focused on SEC reporting (public company or Big Four)
• Understanding of IFRS/U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX compliance, and XBRL
• Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday) and reporting tools (e.g., Workiva, Hyperion)
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Experience in a large, global publicly traded organization
• Exposure to capital markets activity and investor reporting
• Experience with M&A-related financial disclosures
• MBA or advanced degree in Accounting/Finance
