No Experience? No Problem.
We provide hands-on training to help you learn how to set up and run CNC machines.
The CNC-Setup position is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This role involves setting up and calibrating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise during the setup and operation of the machines, ensuring minimal downtime. Additionally, the CNC-Setup technician will collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve overall productivity. Ultimately, this position plays a vital role in maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency in manufacturing.
Set up and calibrate CNC machines according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements.
Document setup procedures, machine performance, and any issues encountered during operations.
Skills
The required skills for this position include a strong understanding of CNC machine operation and setup, which are essential for producing high-quality components. Attention to detail is critical, as the candidate will need to interpret technical drawings accurately and ensure that all specifications are met. Problem-solving skills will be utilized daily to troubleshoot machine issues and implement effective solutions. Additionally, collaboration skills are important for working with engineering and production teams to enhance processes. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of quality control, will further aid in maintaining our high standards and improving overall efficiency.
WORK SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift 4:15 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.)(2nd shift earns a night shift differential of $0.80 p/hr) and Saturdays as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED; College degree a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing. Fast paced.
We offer a generous compensation package, which includes: Competitive hourly wage $17.00p/h - $30.00p/h (depending on experience), Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401K, Vacation & sick/personal days and Life insurance. $250.00 SIGN-ON BONUS
