Job Purpose:
To undertake all activities in relation to the developments, preparation, formalization, maintenance and dissemination of Credit-related policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Product/Program Guidelines and related Business Process documents/ matters, as directed by Vice President, Business Process.
Job Description:
- Gather information on changes to operational processes internally (as identified) and externally (through industry's best practices).
- Translate information into operational guidance documents for implementation.
- Secure approval for documents, with support from Divisional hierarchy.
- Provide inputs, produce and write proposals for reviews, variations and enhancements of SOPs and policies for approval by the relevant committee.
- Disseminate information to all staff via familiarization briefing and prompt uploading to shared repository.
- Collect all required information and details by working in collaboration with the various departments efficiently and systematically.
- Provide advice to front-line divisions on the practical application of Business Process documents to presented situations.
- Review Business Process documents periodically (as per MDV's policies) to ensure that documents are updated.
- Assist Senior AVP/VP to monitor and advises on any discrepancies or lack of clarities on Business Process documentation.
- Provide inputs, produce and write proposals for reviews, variations and enhancements of SOPs, policies and product/programme for approval by the relevant committee.
Requirements:
• Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 3 to 7 years’ experience in Business Process and Organisation & Methods, specifically in monitoring and review of processes, procedures and SOPs / Internal Audit. Industry background in Financial Services industry is an added advantage.
• Possess knowledge and experiences in Basic Banking, Basic Shariah and Business Process/Operations & Methods, including SOP design, policy and product development.
• Possess good communication skill (written and spoken), analytical skill, business writing skill, presentation skill and interpersonal skill, and intermediate level of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
